Ray Keim is an artist who specializes in CGI, and animations for a variety of clientel and for a wide range of media. He has produced art and animations for Film, broadcast television, VHS titles, CD ROM, CD-i, DVD, and the web.

Ray has a degree in art, and years of experience as an art director, animator, and designer for multimedia, and broadcast design.

Ray has also worked as a scale model set builder/designer for various broadcast television shows, and news programs.

Ray supports a diverse group of clientele, primarily in the medical publishing field, and the video production industry, performing a wide range of tasks with a focus on design and animations for DVD, VHS and television.

Ray is also a seasonal member of the Entertainment Art and Design Department at Universal Studios Orlando where he produces graphics, animations and props for various shows and events taking place at the Universal Orlando Resorts, including the Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure theme parks. Ray is also a graphic designer for the Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights events, including art for the
Halloween Horror Nights web site,
designing illustrative event signage for the park, producing art for stage sets,
and building "real" 3D displays and props.

In the summer of 2006 he also produced a short 3D animation featured in the "Bill and Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure" live show. In that same year he also designed two build-it-yourself paper model kits for Universal, depicting two of their most popular haunted house attraction facades,
which you can download here.

In 2007 Ray was Art Director for the Universal Islands of Adventure
summer ski show, "HydroAction".

Ray also contributes to Universal Creative, which is in charge
of designing new rides and attractions for the Universal Orlando theme parks, and he recently had the honor of designing graphic elements for
the new "The Simpson's Ride" attraction at
Universal Studios, Orlando and Hollywood!


Along with an interest in theme parks and architectural renderings, Ray is also known for designing 3D cut paper illustrations, gingerbread houses, and sculpture.
